My top five Favorite Animated Characters

There had been a myth for a long time that animated movies are meant only for children below 14 years of age. However there are some animated characters that have grabbed the hearts of everyone, irrespective of their age. Here are some of my picks:

1) Kung Fu Panda:
The innocence and naive image of this character takes away your heart. He has a dream of becoming the Dragon Warrior and is passionate to learn kung fu. By defeating the Tiger Tai Lung, he wins the heart of his Master and the fantastic five. There are few stills in the 2nd part of the movie in which the baby panda is shown and it laughs and cries like any other baby which is the most cutest part of the movie. Both the Part of the series are a must- must watch.

2) Minions:
These adorable little ones are from the series of Despicable me. They have an amazing accent, awesome laugh, irritating but funny songs, Big BIG glasses which make them look like a nerd. There are many short films too which are made and are a must watch. Here is my favorite one :D
There are many customized characters of minions, viz., Superman, Batman, Ironman which make you a big fan. Other customized favorites include a hand-made minion bookmark, the McDonald gifts and the Minion nailart!

3)Dorry (from finding Nemo)
This female fish has a short time memory loss and inspite of that she helps Marlin find his son. For me, she kind of resembles the character "Geet", from the bollywood film "Jab We Met". Irritating, forgetful, annoying as she is, you can't help but love her the way she is. Her way of tackling the problems is to just let things go they way they're going and everything will fall at it's place.

4) Genie (from the Alladin series)
This character is from the famous Indian series of "Alladin". A Genie is nothing but a supernatural creature who comes out of a special pot (kind of) which is rubbed by Alladin. Usually the one who rubs the pot gets a chance to ask for 3 wishes which the genie fulfills for his master. However, Alladin asks him to become his slave by breaking all the bondage. This character can take the face of any person or animal.

5) McQueen
This is a character from the famous animated movie "Cars". This car is the most loved on the entire movie

Things you have to go through while working on calls

One of the toughest jobs any one can get is to convince, help, pacify, persuade a complete stranger, who is very valuable to your employer. It's easy to yell at someone if you do not get the required services, but what the person at other end goes through is both embarrassing as well as hilarious.
Only a person who has done a job on will understand this.

1. You become an expert in taking any $hit given to you:
One rigorous training given to such employees is to be patient even out of the limits. Dissatisfaction is a very dangerous thing that can happen to anyone, and when you get a client who is super disappointed, all hell breaks loose. One art that you learn with such an experience is to have an invisible hollow passage created virtually by your imagination which passes from the ear which has the receiver to the other one.

2. The Awesome Mute Button:
Even after taking all you can, that too out of limits, the "MUTE" button comes to the rescue. It's simple to use, just a button to be pressed, give all the bad words you know to the person on the other end, unmute the call, say words of empathy. Do make sure that you've pressed the mute button. I remember an incident where I thought I have done the honors, told my colleague, "ISKA SABUN TO BAUT SLOW HAI." The embarrassed customer then voluntarily kept the call. I was lucky enough to not use any golden words that day.

3. The Words of Empathy:
You learn the ways of retaining your customers. Putting yourself into the customers shoes is considered as the most important thing. And with so many customers handled, you get a hang of the best ones. One dissatisfied customer and a series of words and sentences you start rattering, no matter what is the problem. No matter if you're talking to the customer for the first time, he feels like he is the king.

4. Sorry, don't work:
These kind of customers are tough to handle. No matter how much you convince them with the helplessness of the technical issues, you are bound to just listen to them without any arguments. According to them you're not sorry and you do not understand what they're going through. Give up!

5. Hungry for Customer Feedback:
After going through a lot of depressing calls, comes an angel customer. These type of customers are stuck for a long time at a particular thing. That thing might be the silliest thing you know, but for him it is something totally new. One call to you and the issue is fixed within seconds. You cannot miss this chance to get a feedback for the one-line support which has increased his satisfaction levels to Himalayan heights.

6. Mr. Know-it-all:
These kind of people want to know everything about the product/service on the same day itself. They turn out to be one of the satisfied customers. These calls mostly last from 30 minutes to 3-4 hours. The best part is that you are allowed to take water, tea and loo breaks in between such calls. Consider yourself to be in a dangerous situation as you're going to be a target for any problems faced by this customer in the future. All the best! (Y)

7. Your name is just not the same:
This is when you start helping a customer by introducing yourself and you realize you need to introduce your name in a very funny accent, if not to get the exact name pronounced but atleast something which is close to your name. And then comes a time when you give up correcting your name. I remember one client calling me "Jacinta"and another one who started to talk to me in Punjabi after hearing my name. Only way to get rid of this is to award yourself a pseudo name !

8. Not interested
This one is specially for the guys who work in sales. It is a tedious task to get leads for the employer. Something even more difficult is to talk to direct clients. Corporate sales are much easier ones. than the kinds in which you need to sell credit cards. This is the most depressing job one gets. You have certain targets to be met each day, and almost every call you make becomes a zero call. And that one angel who listens to what you have to say, makes your day but still does not turn out to be a lead. At times, even listening to someone makes their day. Suggestions for the reader is to end such calls politely, or to get yourself into on such jobs for atleast a month and know how it feels to be a tele-caller!

How good are you?

If you do not judge other people, you're not a human. It is a gift given to us by God, which has its own pros and cons. We come across many people, who we classify as good, bad acquantices, selfish etc. Bitch about one person in a group, and you come to know that different people have different views about the same person.

The logic here is simple, isn't it? You judge people on how they behave with you. Like for example, you have that one good friend, good because he/she is your friend right from the time you were not even born (your great grandfathers were chuddy buddies in their times). You share even the shittiest things, or the lamest joke that you have come across. You may know people who give you those negative vibes when they are around. But I am sure there are many instances in which you hate a person, just because he/she is bad with your that good friend

I can give an instance which can give you a clear vision of what I am actually trying to say. Tina and Vina are the best of friends. Tom, a third person, who was supposed to be an acquantice, all of a sudden comes and abuses Tina. Vina, who has no clue of what is going on, abuses back. Now Vina and Tom become enemies because of Tina (sorry :P )

Few years later, they meet in some function. Discuss how stupid they were few years back. Vina comes to know that there was some serious issue between her best friend and Tom. Vina realizes that she would have done something similar, had she been in the place of Tom. Now her perceptions about Tom has changes. Let me stop this thing here, cause it is confusing me as well  :P

The whole point of this was to actually bring my view forward, that how we just judge people without having a knowledge of the entire scenario. We actually start hating people without even knowing the reason why we hate that person.

You can take another scenario here. A person who sits besides you in your XYZ classes is an average student. You know more than that person knows about that subject. He/She asks you N number of doubts and you readily help that person.. However, you get frustrated one day due to the continuous bombarding of questions (probably because you are in a bad mood or having a serious head ache) and you say enough. "How dumb can you be?" is what you first come up with. But now lets switch the positions. You are now in class ABC and the person who sits besides you is an expert in that subject. You try to learn new things by keeping a constant touch with that person and all of a sudden you get a rude answer, "How dumb can you be?". Isn't that insulting? Won't you think that person is selfish and don't want you to grow?

My exact point here in this article is that there is no good/bad. It depends totally in which situation you are. Except for rare cases like Mother Teressa who was extremely good and Kasab (nothing else comes up to my mind :/) who was extremely bad.

Before judging anyone, put yourself in their shoes. If it still does'nt work, make them as your enemy (not bad if you have one :P) World is a beautiful place to live in, take all the positive and keep away all the negative.

Not having a great line to end this article, because I am not a good author! I just write what comes up to my mind ;)

P.S. Nobody is perfect, so is my article :P
